La Verkin, UT

La Verkin is a small town in Washington County, in the southwestern corner of Utah, with a population of roughly 4,500 residents. The Virgin River itself also runs through La Verkin, and its corridor offers tubing, fly fishing, and shaded picnic spots within minutes of the town center. Paired with the dramatic cliffs that frame the valley, this gives La Verkin a strong sense of place even before visitors set out for the larger parks.
