Local STR Agent

Short-Term Rentals (STRs) are prohibited in the City of Concord. Renting all or any portion of a property for fewer than 30 days, and listing such properties on platforms like Airbnb, VRBO, Swimply, HomeToGo, or any reservation facilitation website, is illegal. The City enforces this prohibition through zoning. Concord operates a “permissive” zoning code, meaning only uses explicitly listed in the code are allowed; STRs are not among the permitted uses. As a result, no permits, licenses, or registrations are available to authorize STRs in Concord.

If your investment strategy relies on STR income, Concord’s explicit prohibition makes it non-viable for that use. Any short-term occupancy model within the City risks immediate enforcement and significant compliance liabilities under tenant protection and nuisance provisions.
