Generally Investor friendly
STRs appear permitted townwide, but the key constraint is the town’s occupancy rule limiting a dwelling to a single “family” (up to four unrelated persons), which can curb multi-room or multi-party listings. Investors must secure DATCP TRH licensing and state/local taxes, plus building permits/inspections and a Certificate of Occupancy; no hard caps or prohibitive fees are cited. Enforcement is ordinary municipal code compliance, not anti-STR hostility.
