DuPont is a small, planned city in Pierce County, Washington, situated in the Puget Sound region roughly halfway between Tacoma and the state capital of Olympia. The base hosts frequent community events, including air shows and military ceremonies that draw visitors from across the region. Further afield, Mount Rainier National Park is roughly ninety minutes to the east, where the towering volcanic peak and its glaciers offer hiking, wildflower meadows, and scenic drives during the warmer months.

DuPont's combination of small-town character, walkable design, and central location between the South Sound's key destinations makes it an attractive base for travelers.
