Very Investor friendly
Suffolk permits STRs citywide with no city-specific permitting, caps, or lodging taxes, and the city’s tone is permissive. A simple local business license plus standard Virginia sales tax and safety compliance are required, and enforcement is light, keeping investor burden minimal.
