Generally Investor friendly
Sturgis has no local STR ordinance, so investors operate under straightforward statewide requirements (state registration, sales/use tax, health/safety). Only B&Bs or specialty lodging may need a CUP; taxes apply. Nearby towns impose stricter rules and Sturgis could adopt limits, making it friendly but with moderate regulatory risk.
