Generally Investor friendly
Short‑term rentals are permitted throughout Old Forge but require a two‑year permit ($800 for 1‑3 bedrooms, $1,600 for 4+ bedrooms) and compliance with multiple state codes, septic inspections, a local manager who can respond within 24 hours, and a tiered penalty system—moderate fees and procedural steps keep the rules friendly to investors.
