Villas is a small unincorporated community and census-designated place in Lower Township, Cape May County, on the southern tip of New Jersey where the Delaware Bay meets the Atlantic. With a year-round population in the low thousands, Villas has the laid-back feel of a quiet bayside neighborhood rather than a busy resort town, drawing visitors who want easy access to the Cape May Peninsula's beaches and natural areas without the crowds and prices of the more built-up shore points. To the north, the Wildwoods offer a noticeably different energy. The five Wildwood municipalities, connected by a single long boardwalk and more than five miles of wide, free beaches, are known for their retro doo-wop motels, amusement piers, and summer evening entertainment. Wildwood's boardwalk and beaches are about a 15 to 20 minute drive north of Villas, depending on summer traffic, and the area hosts weekly events and fireworks during the season.

For short-term rental owners, Villas offers an appealing combination of affordability, a residential setting, and proximity to some of the most visited destinations on the Jersey Cape.
