STRs are permitted citywide and straightforward to initiate, but the process requires a moderate, multi‑step permitting path—business license, life‑safety/code inspection, Council approval, bi‑annual registration, 4‑year re‑inspection, and tax clearance—creating predictable compliance steps without restrictive caps or fees. The city provides checklists and clear guidance, indicating a supportive, manageable environment for investors.
