Oak Bluffs, MA

Oak Bluffs is a town in Dukes County, Massachusetts, situated on the northeastern shore of Martha's Vineyard, the well-known island off the southern New England coast. Just minutes from the harbor, Joseph Sylvia State Beach is a popular two-mile barrier beach with calm bay waters on one side and Atlantic surf on the other, making it especially well suited to families. The nearby East Chop and West Chop lighthouses, both dating to the 19th century, offer short, scenic drives with sweeping views of Vineyard Sound, and the Oceanic Hotel at East Chop has long been a recognizable landmark overlooking the harbor entrance.
