Challenging to Investors
STRs are allowed in most of Tucker (unincorporated DeKalb) with a county permit, annual renewal, 8% excise tax, and standard operational rules, making compliance manageable. However, city-level rules for incorporated Tucker are unclear, the county permitting process and fees are pending, and there are no published caps or enforcement specifics, creating investor uncertainty.
