Thomaston, GA

Thomaston is a small city in west-central Georgia, serving as the county seat of Upson County. About 30 miles northwest of Thomaston, the small town of Warm Springs is home to the Little White House, the modest cottage where President Franklin D. The drive from Thomaston takes roughly an hour and fifteen minutes, putting one of Georgia's most visited attractions within easy reach.

East of Thomaston, Indian Springs State Park in Flovilla is one of Georgia's oldest state parks, with spring-fed swimming pools, a small lake for fishing, hiking trails, and campgrounds. It is approximately 35 miles from Thomaston, or about a 45-minute drive.
