Lagrange, GA

LaGrange sits in Troup County in west Georgia, roughly 60 miles southwest of Atlanta. The park features camping, cabins, a small lake, and the Pine Mountain Trail, with the western approach to Dowdell's Knob — a scenic rock outcrop the president was known to favor — located within park boundaries. It is roughly 25 minutes south of LaGrange.

LaGrange makes a compelling base for short-term rentals because it offers the quiet pace of small-town Georgia alongside several substantial regional draws. Guests can spend mornings walking a historic downtown, afternoons among azaleas and butterflies at Callaway Gardens, and evenings on the trails of a state park, all within about a 30-minute radius.
