Cherry Log, GA

Cherry Log is a small unincorporated mountain community in Gilmer County, in the north Georgia Blue Ridge. With a population of only a few hundred residents, it is one of the quieter settlements in the Appalachian foothills, known for its wooded setting, scenic byway traffic, and role as a restful stopover between the larger towns of Ellijay and Blue Ridge. The community sits along U.S. Route 76, roughly 90 miles north of Atlanta, or about a two-hour drive south from the city.
