Challenging to Investors
St. Cloud permits short‑term rentals only in hotel/motel zones, requiring multi‑layered licensing (state DBPR, county STR license, city BTR) with fees of $250 + $160 + $150, $1 M liability insurance, a per‑unit occupancy cap, and strict $500/day fines—making the market highly limited and compliance burdensome.
