Suisun City, CA

Suisun City is a small, waterfront city in Solano County, California, situated at the eastern edge of San Pablo Bay where the Suisun Bay meets the Sacramento–San Joaquin River Delta. With a population of roughly 29,000, it carries the laid-back character of a working waterfront town, with a revitalized historic downtown bordering a working marina and views across the tidal marshes that have shaped the region for generations. A similar drive northwest brings visitors to the edge of the Napa Valley, the renowned wine region whose rolling vineyards, tasting rooms, and hot-air-balloon launches are within easy reach for a long day or an overnight excursion. Closer still, the broader Suisun Marsh and Delta waterways invite boating, kayaking, and fishing for striped bass and sturgeon, with public launches just minutes from the city center.
