Whittier is a city in southeastern Los Angeles County, California, with a population of approximately 87,000 residents. Set against the rolling hills of the Whittier-Puente region, it has a quieter, more residential character than coastal Los Angeles neighborhoods, while still sitting within easy reach of the metropolitan core.
