Arizona law (ARS § 9‑500.39) prohibits bans and keeps caps in check, allowing STRs with modest oversight; Apache Junction requires a local permit (fee ≤$250), TPT registration, $500k insurance, neighbor notice, and ad disclosures, and imposes a reasonable penalty schedule (up to $3,500), making compliance straightforward but not free of costs.
