Challenging to Investors
STRs are allowed in Arkansas and Benton is likely open, but no city‑specific Benton STR rules were provided, so investors must first verify zoning, permits, caps and inspection requirements with the City or County. This lack of defined local framework creates compliance uncertainty and potential delays/costs beyond the straightforward state sales‑tax registration, making the market challenging for investors.
