Gadsden is a city of roughly 33,000 residents in northeastern Alabama, serving as the county seat of Etowah County. It sits along the Coosa River at the southern foot of Lookout Mountain and is often described as a gateway to the mountain's natural scenery and the broader Appalachian foothills.
